At Walton House Nursery, we strive to create trusting and respectful relationships with parents and carers.
Our staff are committed to high quality learning in all seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage to enhance your child’s development.
Our staff are selected carefully and are chosen on their qualifications and/or experience and personal qualities. Our team regularly attend staff meetings, training sessions and courses to ensure they are up to date with standards of nursery practice.
Our duty of care is to create a safe and secure environment in which the children can learn through play and develop skills under close supervision. Teamwork and positivity is very important to us as children need to have positive role models who respect and value each other.
Each child receives individual support from their Play Partner to enable them to become happily active, motivated learners. In this way, children learn the value of achievement through their own curiosity and ideas. We encourage children to learn about social and community relationships and enjoy responsibility and acknowledgement of their own choices and actions. At Walton House Nursery our staff recognise that all children are different and nurture each child as an individual.
All staff at Walton House Nursery hold enhanced DBS checks as well as qualified Paediatric First Aid certificates.
